A few weeks ago I received a phone call from a friend. She explained that she had a box some furniture came in and she was thinking that the girls would really enjoy having it to play with. Later that week she brought over the box for the girls to play with. It was huge!
That night Kevin taped the top to create a roof, cut out a front door and some windows and the box became a house. Since then the girls have painted on the outside, wallpapered on the inside, created art work on the walls, added furniture (another box and stadium cushions), even added a hand drawn wall mounted tv!
What started out as a lot of cardboard is now a house. A house whose creation was sparked by a friend’s thoughtfulness.
Thanks Barb!

You are very welcome. I loved the pictures of the girls and seeing their beautiful “house” when I was over the other night was awesome!
Thanks girls . . . you gave me a gift and didn’t even know it. : )

Laura,
Love the pics of Jocie and Olivia with the house…that’s really neat. Are you bringing that to CC so their cousins can check out the new pad as well? Looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks.
Love,

Lane,
Don’t think we’ll be bringing the house. But we can bring the paint, wrapping paper and tape. Think we could find a box or two at the mini-warehouse?
We’ll see you in a few!
