Jocie came home this afternoon. She’s been selected to run for student council. I asked her how the students whose essays were not selected were doing. Jocie said:
“They’re fine with it. They got a piece of candy.”
Who would have thought that candy could bring about peace?
Guess we’re making campaign posters this weekend.
